Without what? Without the city, into the countryside and down to the water’s edge. There’s the estuary at Severn Beach and the Second Severn Crossing and down at Clevedon seafront, whilst there’s plenty to explore over the bridge at Ashton Court. Essentially this section covers South Gloucestershire and North Somerset, which were formed (along with Bristol and Bath and North East Somerset) when the old Avon county was split up on 1st April 1996. Hopefully ‘Without’ sounds a bit snappier.
